To moving the factory in other country, company can increase in market share. Disadvantage of Factory Move: To moving factory in other country, employee losses his job. Company faces the cultural differences to move the company in other country. Company faces language differences to move the company. China is communist country, there are some policies, rules and regulation for establish a company. This makes difficulty for Burberry group to move the company in china. IHRM Approach Company can adopt the geocentric approach for the international human resource management in china. The geocentric approach is as follow: Geocentric Approach: According to Briscoe, Schuler Claus (2008) geocentric approach, the firm can hire best people in all executive position according to their ability and knowledge rather than nationality. Burberry group can use its human resource most efficiently by transferring the best person to the job. In Geocentric approach, company coordinates its subsidiaries and headquarters for decision making activities. It can be helpful to make a stronger relationship network among the entire global management team because of continues interaction and networking help to understand the country culture and work place among the team members (Briscoe, Schuler Claus, 2008). The advantage of geocentric approach is that this approach offers the good opportunity to all executive level employees work in different countries. This approach helps to build a team of executives who understand the international operations. According to Vance, Vance Paik (2006) this approach helps to build a global limited vision and loyalty for the company. In this approach the HR director can follow the standardization policy for recruitment of executives. In this policy, HR director can follow the standard criteria for recruitment of managerial level employees. There is evidence in the case that Burberry group established a corporate social responsibility committee in 2005 for giving the equal environment and opportunity to the employees in the manner of money and facilities. In this environment employees are rewarded according to their contribution in the company. Company has some standard to recruit the candidate to gain the most capable job candidate and develop competent employees. China is a communist country so, most of the large foreign company, especially multi-national companies operate its business with the association of china government partners. In this approach company can face the implication of cross culture conflict and control. In an analysis of high performing companies with the multinational management teams proved that culture difference gives the advantages of business. There is evidence Wei (2001) that this culture difference might even contribute to a competitive advantage by providing a broader range of perspectives for managing the company within such complex economic and cultural system. Recommendations On the analysis of china HRM and the market position of the company, it is recommended that the company should conduct a market analysis in the china. It can be helpful to understand about the competitors in the market. According to Wei (2001) in order to enter in the Chinese market, company should use the joint venture strategy with Chinese luxury product manufactures. It would be helpful in the growth of the firm in Chinese market. There is evidence in case that Burberry group has worldwide network of licensed directly operated stores, concessions, third party operated retail location and a network of wholesale customers. This would be helpful to growth in market share of china. According to Courtis, Ratcliffe Allsop (2006) China is a number one in population in the world so, the labour easily available at less cost for the production. It would be helpful to produce the products at cost efficiency. That will be helpful to increase in market share and competitive advantage. In china, company should enter with the joint venture with other company; this can be helpful to gain managerial advantage in the market because the employees of other company and management know about the culture and language of the country. They have a deep knowledge about the market and situations, it would be helpful to grow in the market and increase in market share. Action Plan The Burberry group PLC makes the action plan to manage the people aspects in both Wales and China are as follows: Clarify Goals: To manage the people aspects of this problem, HR director should define the company goals to all the employees in the organization. It will be helpful to understand about the mission and vision of the company. By the clarify goals, employees will be motivate to do work with effectively and efficiency (Bratton, Gold, 2001). Recruitment: The HR director should recruit the most skilled and motivated employees for the organization. The employees should have the knowledge of their field as well as roles and responsibilities. The entire process of recruitment is monitored by the human resource manager. Coaching the Employees: Training of the employees is another function of the HR director. By the training, an employee can communicate and develop strong relations with the other people. Training provides the knowledge about the organization. It defines the companys long term vision and mission. Motivation and Performance Appraisal: By the motivation an employee can give the best performance in the company. A human resource director should organize a session and lectures that keep the employee update about the competition in the market (Bamberger Meshoulam, 2000). Performance appraisal and compensation is also one of the main responsibilities of the HR director. Employee Satisfaction and Feedback: A HR director should provide the facilities to the employees for motivating. It should be in term of monetary and other criteria. HR director should take the feedback from the different departments about the employees (Courtis, Ratcliffe Allsop, 2006). HR director should understand the feedback of the workers and this lead to a well-organized management of the workers. Conclusion From the above discussion, it can be concluded that Burberry group Plc is a leading company in manufacturing the luxury products for women, men and kids. Its corporate management strategy involves selling high quality products at lower cost to the customers. Company operates its business through licensed retail network and has a good opportunity to expend this network in other countries. Company gives god working environment to employees through corporate social responsibility committee. Burberry group is going to redesign its supply chain network and sourcing strategy for gaining the competitive advantages from the market. It can be concluded that company decides to closure its factory in the other country to gain the global competitive advantages and produce the low cost products. For this, company should merge with other global based company and open new stores in country.

What are the different forms of aid given by more economically :: Economics
What are the different forms of aid given by more economically developed countries (MEDCs) to less economically developed countries (LEDCs)? Explain how useful the aid is and evaluate why some aid is more successful than other aid. What are the different forms of aid given by more economically developed countries (MEDCs) to less economically developed countries (LEDCs)? Explain how useful the aid is and evaluate why some aid is more successful than other aid. Hafiza Bhabha 11 JT =================== Aid many less developed countries (LEDCs) rely on aid. In the Oxford dictionary aid is defined as, --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Something that helps, money, food, etc. ---------------------------------------- Sent to another country to help it" ------------------------------------ Aid is not only given by countries (governments) but is also given by organisations which help a certain place or fund a certain project, such as Oxfam who helps those children in Africa. The real purpose of giving aid is to help those countries that need to develop their economy so that they can improve their standard of living and quality of living. At times giving and receiving aid is complex, as it may not benefit the country, as it could be unsuccessful. Many developing countries need aid because they may have large and increasing trade debts, unfortunately they need to borrow money from MEDCs, however, sometimes by doing this, they fall into bigger, more dangerous debts. Other issues such as earthquakes, volcanoes, etc, also lead countries to borrow more money. This aid is usually only needed for a short period of time. Short-term aid is aid, which is given immediately and is only needed for a small amount of time. This is used with natural disasters and wars etc. Long-term aid is also a different type of giving. This is more useful to a developing country as there is always money, technology and other aid coming in. The aim of this coursework is to investigate what the different types of aids are and also whether they are successful or unsuccessful. In this coursework I have used secondary information. This is basically information that has already been collected. I have researched a lot from the town library, school library, magazines, Internet and many school textbooks. There are three main categories of aid, which is given by MEDCs to LEDCs and they are: Bilateral Aid This aid is between two different countries. "Help is 'given' directly by a rich 'donor' country to the 'recipient' country" (The New Wider World- School Textbook) the reason why the word given is in quotation marks s simply because there are usually conditions attached to the aid, such as the country may not allow the other country to trade with anyone else.

Dramatic Devices Essay
How Does Miller Use Dramatic Devices to Show the Impact of the Arrival of Marco and Rodolfo in this scene?à In the play ââ¬ËA view from a bridgeââ¬â¢ Miller uses many dramatic devices in many scenes. I am going to be looking at the dramatic devices miller uses to show the impact of the arrival of Marco and Rodolfo.à In the early 1950ââ¬â¢s Italy was a very poor country because the economy was very slow to grow particularly in the south which was less industrialised. This meant that many Italians left Italy for America with the help of dockyard owners who knew that they may well get cheap labour from immigrants until they had paid for their passage over to America. Once they had paid their fare, the immigrants were left to make their own way. The play is set in this time in Brooklyn where the family the play is about, Eddie, Beatrice and their niece Catherine, lives. The family are awaiting the arrival of Beatriceââ¬â¢s two cousins Marco and Rodolfo who have illegally immigrated to America to seek a better life and to earn money to send home to their familiesà Before the arrival of the two cousins the family are just living normally. Eddie and Beatrice are having a few problems with their marriage which are only made worse as the play goes on. Eddie and Catherine have a very close relationship and she looks up to him like a father. Eddie is very protective of Catherine and does not want her to get a job, wear high heel, wear short skirts or even grow up at all. He has looked out for her like a daughter since he and Beatrice took her in. However he is seeing her less and less as a niece or a daughter and more like a woman. He is starting to question his feelings for her, and the arrival of a possible new love interest for Catherine does not please Eddie. Catherine and Beatrice are quite close and Beatrice is quite like a mother figure to Catherine. In the first scenes we see that Beatrice sticks up for Catherine when Catherine wants to get a job and Eddie does not want her too. We can see there is tension in the family before the two Italians arrive but their arrival does not help the tension in the family. From the scene where Marco and Rodolfo arrive we can foresee that something is going to happen and there is going to be problems, especially between Rodolfo, Catherine and Eddie. Towards the end of the scene Rodolfo and Catherine are mostly talking to each other and Catherine seems quite smitten with Rodolfo. Especially when she finds out what a good singer he is. ââ¬Ë(enthralled) leave him finish, itââ¬â¢s beautifulââ¬â¢ Eddie sees this and dislikes the fact that Catherine is giving Rodolfo so much attention. He firstly stops Rodolfo singing ââ¬Ëlook, kid; you donââ¬â¢t want to be picked up do ya?ââ¬â¢ The reality is Rodolfo probably would not get picked up but Eddie did not want him to sing because he did not want Rodolfo to please Catherine. After he has stopped Rodolfo singing he tells Catherine to take her high heels off, this embarrasses and angers Catherine. Beatrice sees what Eddie is doing and is also angry at him for it. ââ¬ËBeatrice watches her go and gets up; in passing, she gives Eddie a cold look, restrained only by strangers, and goes to the table to pour coffeeââ¬â¢ this quotation from the stage directions tells us how Beatrice is annoyed with Eddie for putting Catherine down and also shows us how she looks out for Catherine. Rodolfo irritates Eddie again by saying ââ¬Ëespecially when they are so beautifulââ¬â¢ and indicates to Catherine. Eddie can see that something is going to happen between Catherine and Rodolfo and we can see this from the stage direction with says ââ¬Ëhis face puffed with troubleââ¬â¢ this tells us that he does not want something to happen between Catherine and Rodolfo. Marco and Rodolfo clearly have a good brotherly relationship and Marco seems to have some control over Rodolfo as he seems able to tell him what to do. From this we can see that if there was ever a problem for Rodolfo, Marco would help him and look out for him.

Religion of Islam - 3119 Words
The first thing that one should know and clearly understand about Islam is what the word Islam itself means. The religion of Islam is not named after a person as in the case of Christianity which was named after Jesus Christ, Buddhism after Gotama Buddha, Confucianism after Confucius, and Marxism after Karl Marx. Nor was it named after a tribe like Judaism after the tribe of Judah and Hinduism after the Hindus. Islam is the true religion of Allah and as such, its name represents the central principle of Allahs Gods religion; the total submission to the will of Allah God. The Arabic word Islam means the submission or surrender of ones will to the only true god worthy of worship Allah and anyone who does so is termed aâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦This basic principle is enshrined in the opening chapter of the Quraan, known as Soorah Al-Faatihah, verse 4: You alone do we worship and from you alone do we seek help. Elsewhere, in the final book of revelation, the Quraan, Allah also said: And your Lord says:Call on Me and I will answer your(prayer).(Soorsh Mumin 40:60) it is worth noting that the basic message of Islam is that Allah and His creation are distinctly different entities. Neither is Allah His creation or a part of it, nor is His creation Him or a part of Him. This might seem obvious, but, mans worship of creation instead of the Creator is to a large degree based on ignorance of this concept. It is the belief that the essence of Allah is everywhere in His creation or that His divine being is or was present in some aspects of His creation, which has provided justification for the worship of creation though such worship maybecalled the worship of Allah through his creation. How ever, the message of Islam as brought by the prophets of Allah is to worship only Allah and to avoid the worship of his creation either directly or indirectly. In the Ouraan Allah clearlystates: For We assuredly sent amongst every people a prophet,(with the command) worship meand avoid false gods (Soorsh Al-Nahl 16:36) When the idol worshipper is questioned as to why he or she bows down to idols created by men, the invariable replyShow MoreRelatedThe Religion Of Islam And Islam1544 Words à |à 7 Pagesand Islam are not exclusive and need not to be in competition. William Faulkner s `` A Rose For Emily `` - 953 Words
While authors like Edgar Allen Poe and Stephen King are known for their creepy writings, William Faulkner has achieved a level of disturbing that is hardly reached in short stories. A Rose for Emily is a story that shows how the insanity of one woman is able to shock an entire town, even in death. When first reading A Rose for Emily, anyone can see how twisted Emily Grierson is. Not only for the fact that she was sleeping in the same bed as a corpse, but because this was not the first time that she had kept a dead body in her house. After reading this story, it makes the audience question not only the reasoning that Emily has behind not only killing Homer, but keeping his body trapped in her house up until she met death as well. It also brings to attention how much the townsfolk actually influenced the progression of insanity that caused Emily and those around her, so much turmoil. For example, if the townsfolk had not used Emily as a source of entertainment and gossip, would she have sta yed the recluse? While, the townsfolk are not to blame, it makes readers wonder: what if? Another question that I had while reading this story is, who was the narrator? Anorexia Nervosa (1309 words) Essay Example For Students
Anorexia Nervosa (1309 words) Essay Anorexia NervosaCauses, Symptoms, Complications and Treatments for the eating disorder Anorexia Nervosa. Eating disorders are devastating behavioral maladies brought on by a complex interplay of factors, which may include emotional and personality disorder, family pressure, a possible genetic or biological susceptibility and a culture in which there is an over abundance of food and an obsession with thinness. Eating disorders are generally characterized as bulimia nervosa, anorexia nervosa and eating disorders not other wise specified. According to the World of Psychology anorexia is defined as an eating disorder characterized by an overwhelming, irrational fear of being fat, compulsive dieting to the point of self starvation and excessive weight loss.(World of Psychology Page 317). There are some causes, symptoms, complications and treatment of anorexia nervosa. There is no single cause for the eating disorder anorexia but a number of factors including emotional disorders and cultural influences. Researchers have shown that emotional disorders such as depression collaborate in causing anorexia nervosa. This is because most anorexic patients have been found to have abnormal levels of certain neurotransmitters particularly serotonin, that are associated with depression and obsessive compulsive disorder. According to a research conducted by Dr. John .E. Godine of Harvard Medical School studies are finding that low blood levels of amino acid tryptophan, a component in food that is essential to the production of serotonin, can produce depression and may also contribute to anorexia nervosa (Psychology Today Page 17, May 97). Researches have also shown that changes in seasons affects both depression and eating disorders and also that onset of anorexia appears to peak in May, which is also a peak month for suicide. Anxiety disorders are also very co mmon with anorexia. Phobias and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) usually precede the onset of the eating disorder, while panic disorder tends to follow. Studies have shown that people with anorexia are especially prone to obsessive compulsive disorder. Cultural influences can also cause anorexia as can be seen in most western cultures. The social pressures of western cultures certainly play a major role in triggering eating disorders such as anorexia. On the other hand, advertisers heavily market weight reductions programs and present anorexic young models as the paradigm of sexual desirability and on the other hand again, the media floods the public with ads for junk food. According to the World of Psychology over the past quarter century, the ideal female figure as portrayed in the media and by fashion and entertainment industries, has become even thinner, often to the point of emancipation(World of Psychology Page 317). Due to cultural influences in a country where obesity is epidemic, young women who achieve thinness believe they have accomplished a major cultural and personal victory; they have overcome the temptations of junk food and at the same time, created an image idealized by the media. This false sense of accomplishmen t is often reinforced by the envy of their heavier friends who may perceive anorexic patients as being stronger and more sexually attractive than they are. The media definitely plays a major role in the cause of anorexia. According to the World of Psychology It is difficult to pinpoint the cause of this disorder. More anorexic individuals are well-behaved and academically successful(The World of Psychology Page 371). Some investigators even believe that young women who refuse to eat are attempting to control a portion of their lives, which they feel unable to control in most situations(Psychology Today, May 98). The symptoms of anorexia vary since most women with the disorder keep it a secret but the major symptom is the change in size. According to an article from WebMd the primary symptom of anorexia is major weight loss from excessive and continuos dieting which may either be restrictive dieting or binge-eating and purging(www.webmd.com). The feet and hands of the anorexic patient may be cold or swollen sometimes. The stomach is often distressed after eating and is often bloated. Thinking may be confused or slowed, and an anorexic patient may have poor memory and judgement. Again all of these symptoms vary from individuals as could be seen in young women who have diabetes and anorexia. Such people may have a normal weight or even be overweight but still anorexic.
